hmm....very poetic.... i really like the atmosphere. personally i would have preffered less of a scarecrow look, but it looks nice in a different way like this, so it's nice. the area around the girl is slightly too dark, it's hard to make out details. when u want characters to portray hope and desperation it's important to make the eyes very visible. the moonlight effect is amazing. how did u do that?

the white bits look kind of like a reversed etching... as usual it leaves me wondering "how'd he do that?" and good font use.. people mess that up a lot a critique for once... the girl looks a bit sketchy and unfinished. It doesnt "ruin it" by any means. Perhaps that is part of it.

I love the way this looks, especially focusing on the soul from the dead persons body. But you cant really tell what the girl's face is expressing, but her body language tells you that she is in mourning and praying for the souls safe trip to the afterlife.
